SAE8655 with remarkable toughness is used for the face. While increasing the initial velocity of the ball with a high bounce, the excess weight created is used to maximize forgiveness and straight ball flight.
The face is designed to be thinner towards the top with proprietary thickness deviation, and the body is made of soft S20C material to achieve a high bounce and solid feel. This is a highly stable model for golfers who prioritize distance performance and results with low loft.
Featuring a 3-level thickness deviation:
Lower center: 2.7mm
Center-left and right: 2.3mm
Top blade: 1.8mm
In order to eliminate the unsatisfying feel and sound of face-welded irons, the lower area of the face is made thicker and the top blade thinner so that even players with slower head speeds can experience the ball hitting the face like a professional golfer with a high head speed.
The thinness of the upper part of the face has been tested starting from 1.5mm for durability and resulted in marketing a product with globally unparalleled 1.88mm thinness.
In addition, only the upper part of the blade was processed with high-frequency heat treatment to increase the body rigidity, successfully creating strength that can withstand the 1.8mm thinness.
